Oxford Reading Tree Books

As some of you will have noticed, your child has been bringing home new reading books in their reading folders. Our school has spent €45 000 purchasing over 7000 new Oxford Reading Tree books.  Among these books are many new and exciting stories including many topics and themes relevant to today's students’ interests.

As you can appreciate, these book travel from school and back mostly on a daily basis.  This is why we have covered most books with a plastic cover to help prolong the life of these books in the years to come.

Unfortunately we have already had a few new books come back to school with ripped pages and others with food stains.  To stop this from occurring we kindly ask you to keep the books in your child’s reading folder at home and when reading with your child, you do so in an appropriate place, away from food and drinks.

Please understand that just like at a library, any damaged books will need to be replaced, at your cost.
